ADE 1.2.127 adds a Beta update track, a Tailscale route and Private network setup for your computers, and branded Integrations pages. It also makes ADE MCP work as one account server and removes ADE Code and project notes.

New

  • A Beta update track gives you a new build from main every few hours, on the same install; switch tracks in Settings › About › Updates, and stable releases now promote a beta that has already run (#1971).
  • Settings › Account › Connections sets up Tailscale step by step, the web app can reach your computer over Tailscale HTTPS, and each computer has its own ADE Relay switch (#1964).
  • GitHub, Linear and Jira each get a branded page in Settings › Integrations with your sign-in, main actions and status (#1967).

Improved

  • ADE MCP works as one server for your account, and its setup page says exactly what is wrong when a connection fails (#1970).
  • Background jobs such as chat titles no longer start your own MCP servers on Droid, Kimi, Grok, Muse, Devin and Cursor (#1972).
  • Integrations pages fit narrow windows, and the Linear agent’s model picker has room for the full model name (#1968).
  • The Account page no longer redraws the window nonstop while it is open (#1969).

Removed

  • ADE Code, the terminal app opened with ade code, is gone; use the desktop app or the web app instead (#1974).
  • Project notes (ade notes and Agent notes in Settings) are gone; agents use skills and the repo’s own docs (#1965).
